Half Control: An Opening System for White's Army
- Overview -
White's Moves Only:
1.e4, 2.Nf3, 3.Bc4, 4.Nc3, 5.d3, 6.O-O, 7.h3, 8.Be3, 9.Qd2, 10.Rad1, 11.Rfe1
Noted by Ken Wilsdon: "This is a good opening if you are playing 1. e4. The problem with 1.e4 is that half the time, Black will play the Sicilian
(1. e4 c5), and avoid this and the Ruy Lopez."
- Example Sequence -
Here's the Half Control system played properly. The following sequence was from the Chess.com's forum (where I found this Opening System).
Noted by Ken Wilsdon: "This is the Two Knights Defense to the Italian Game (Guioco Piano, C55 and C47).."
Noted on Chess.com: "White is done getting all of his pieces into the game. He didn't get full control of the center, but now he can try to push that pawn and start attacking!"
