Fritz Chess Software
Fritz Chess software is the result of the combined efforts of Chess database compilers “ChessBase” and Chess game programmers Frans Morsch and Mathias Feist.
Use Fritz to analyze your games and let the chess engine find tactically superior moves.
CraftyChess.com
Crafty is a free, open-source computer chess program developed by Dr. Robert M. Hyatt. Crafty is constantly being improved by a small team of contributors, including Dr. Hyatt.
Crafty was recommended to me by Ken Wilsdon (my mentor whose discussions helped refine the Advanced Beginner’s Chess Guide).
