I've explored this sequence in Fritz 12 and the best Strategy for dealing with the threat of Scholar's Mate, appears to be to recognize the error of playing:

• 2. ... Bc5

... Playing that move allows White's Queen to nip up to h5 (3. Qh5), to place Black in REAL trouble.

Instead of playing 2. ... Bc5, a better move would be:

• 2. ... g6

Advancing your Black Pawn to g6 would put an immediate stop to White's hopes of 3. Qh5, as the following clip shows:
